Allie Prescott III

Allie Prescott was a standout baseball pitcher for the Tigers under former head coach Al Brown. Prescott played for four years working as a pitcher and first baseman. He was named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference team in 1968 after compiling a 4-2 pitching record and a .318 batting average. He hit a collective .309 for his Memphis career and helped his team to an overall record of 71-44-2. A member of the Memphis Amateur Sports Hall of Fame, Prescott graduated in 1969 and enrolled in the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. He received his law degree in 1972 and began practicing locally. He has worked as the general manager of the Memphis Chicks, the director of the Memphis Park Commission and the executive director of MIFA.
