Keith West

Keith West came to the Tiger tennis team as graduating from Ridgeway High School in Memphis at the age of 16. He immediately won the number two singles position and a spot on the number one doubles team with Bob Leopold. He received a bid to the NCAA Tennis Tournament as a freshman and was the youngest player in the field. As a sophomore he gained the number one position and won the NCAA Indoor Championship in singles. That same year he won the Southern Intercollegiate doubles with teammate Phil Chamberlain. West finished his career with an overall record of 124-41 in his singles and doubles matches. He received his degree from Memphis in computer sciences and is employed by FedEx as a manager of Systems Engineering and Development.
