Linda Arnold

Linda Arnold, who was one of the first 50 women in the country to become a nationally certified athletic trainer, joined the staff at the University of Memphis in 1976.
A graduate of Murray State University, Arnold completed her Master's Degree at Fort Hays State University in Kansas. She arrived on the Memphis campus in 1976 and was immediately charged with developing the first women's training program for Lady Tiger athletics and taught First Aid and Athletic Injuries classes.
While at the U of M, Arnold and her staff of student trainers, five of whom became nationally certified trainers, hosted many state, regional and national athletic events, including the USVB volleyball tournament.
Arnold received her Real Estate license and began selling real estate during the summer months. She left the University in 1990 to sell property at the TPC at Southwind golf course. She became affiliated with Germantown Properties in 1992. She was voted the "Favorite Realtor in Germantown" in 1999.
Arnold has served as a board member of the Multi Million Dollar Club, President of the Education Committee and President of the Education Foundation.
