Lloyd Patterson

Lloyd Patterson arrived at the University of Memphis in 1975 and when his career ended in 1978, he owned just about every Tiger passing record. The Hamilton High School graduate became a starter as a true freshman and over the next four years led the team to some of its most memorable victories. He held the school for the longest touchdown pass in history (94 yards to Earnest Gary), most offensive plays (966) and most total offense in a career (4,565). He was named the Associated Press Back of the Week for his play against Southern Mississippi in 1977. After college Patterson played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL from 1977-81. He currently owns his own business, J-Jireh Laundry and Cleaners in Memphis.
