Regina Street, like her sister Linda Street, set and still hold numerous Lady Tiger basketball records. Playing for the Lady Tigers from 1981 through 1985, Street was one of the most celebrated centers in the game. She is one of just three Lady Tigers to score over 2,000 points in her career. Street holds the records for the highest field goal percentage in a season at 62.7% and in a career at 58.8% and the single season rebounding average at 12.3 boards per game. She also set the season and career marks for blocked shots with 103 in a season and 314 in her career. Her 40-point effort against Cincinnati stands as the second highest individual point total in a game and her 2,043 career points rank third on the all-time scoring list. Street helped her team to two NCAA appearances and one NIT bid. Following graduation she played professional basketball in Europe.
