“901 Week” Returns as Memphis Invites Community to Kick Off Football Season

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Athletics is inviting the entire 901 to celebrate what makes our city special — and kick off the Tigers' football season — with 901 Week, running Aug. 25–30.
The week will feature five days of fan-friendly, Tiger-themed events leading up to the season opener against Chattanooga on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 3:30 p.m. at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. Dubbed the 901 Game, the matchup brings the community together to officially welcome another exciting football season.
Be there as Memphis takes the field for its 2025 home opener. Single-game tickets and Mini Plans are available HERE.

Fans across the 901 are encouraged to wear Tiger gear the day before the home opener as part of #CollegeColorsDay. Fans and businesses can post photos and videos of their gear to X, Instagram and Facebook, tagging @TigersAthletics or @MemphisFB and using the hashtags #901Week and #TigerBlue.
901Game – Saturday, Aug. 30
901 Week culminates on Saturday at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium when the Tigers host Chattanooga at 3:30 p.m. in the team's 901 Game season opener.
