MEMPHIS, Tenn. – ESPN will be making its way to Memphis, with 'SportsCenter on Campus' setting up on Tiger Lane on Thursday, Oct. 22 ahead of Memphis' matchup against East Carolina.
Hosted by anchor, Matt Barrie, SportsCenter on Campus brings ESPN's flagship program to college campuses on Thursdays throughout the college football season, capturing the atmosphere, traditions and storylines surrounding that week's matchup
The live show will air from 4-4:30 p.m. CT with Memphis and East Carolina kicking off at 6:30 p.m. that evening. Fans and students are encouraged to come and watch the show live following Tiger Walk.
Memphis' matchup with the Pirates marks the third consecutive year of the University of Memphis partnering with the DeAngelo Williams Foundation in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and Health Care Appreciation. Join us at the game as we honor the strength, courage and resilience of those who have battled or are continuing to battle breast cancer, while also recognizing the dedicated healthcare professionals who stand on the front lines giving care and support every day.
Memphis fans and students are encouraged to arrive early at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium and tailgate before the game. Parking lots open at noon, and the Pouncer's Pals Kids Zone, which features yard games, inflatables and more, opens on Tiger Lane at 3:30 p.m.
The Tigers and Pirates will then meet in Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in a nationally televised American Conference matchup on ESPN2 at 6:30 p.m.
