HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark.- Sophomore Pavarisa Jongpipittaporn fired a career-low 4-under 68 in the final round Tuesday to lead the University of Memphis women's golf team on the final day of the Diamante Intercollegiate at Diamante Country Club.
Memphis shot a 5-over 293 in the third round to close out the fall season in 13th place with a 54-hole total of 27-over 891.
Jongpipittaporn finished tied for 10th at 1-under 215. The sophomore's third round marked a career-low 68, which ties for seventh in program history in low round versus par and ties for 10th in lowest 18-hole score.
Hazel Cottriel posted a 1-over 73 on Tuesday to tie for 60th at 7-over 223. Maddie Smith carded a 3-over 75 to finish tied for 77th at 11-over 227. Nutsanun Khamphueng tied for 85th at 14-over 230 after a final-round 78, while Claire Todd closed with a 5-over 77 to tie for 87th at 15-over 231.
The Tigers return to competition Feb. 1 to open their spring campaign at the UCF Challenge, hosted at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.
