Randall Earns Top-20 Finish as Tigers Compete at Chile Pepper Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Memphis men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Chile Pepper Invitational at Agri Park on Friday morning, with both squads placing 21st in their respective races.
Robert Randall led the Memphis men in the McDonnell Memorial 8k, crossing the line in 24:41.0 to secure a 17th-place finish in a competitive field. Alex Bobak was the second Tiger to cross, placing 65th with a time of 25:49.1.
On the women's side, Reese McDevitt set a personal record in the Harter's Habanero 5k, pacing the Tigers with a time of 18:28.5 to take 110th place.
Overall, five Tigers established new personal bests during the meet: Brooke Doyle, Grace Schaff, Jasmine Williams, Tyler Bickerman and McDevitt.
Memphis returns to action on Friday, Oct. 16, at the Crimson Classic Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
