IRVING, Texas - Ann-Marie Braese was named the American Conference women's track athlete of the week, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The Arlington, Tennessee native, won the 10,000-meter run with a time of 37:30.04, a mark that currently ranks No. 1 in the American and No. 13 in the nation. Brease capped the weekend with a second-place finish in the one mile with a time of 5:08.98, the 16th-fastest time in the conference.
