First Pitch of Series Opener against Florida Atlantic Moved to 1 p.m.
Apr 24, 2026 | Softball
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In an effort to avoid inclement weather in today's forecast, Memphis and Florida Atlantic will open their series at 1 p.m. today.
The game was originally scheduled for a 5 p.m. start, but a decision was made to move to start time forward to avoid projected storms in the area.
Memphis (17-33, 5-16 American) hopes to rebound from a midweek doubleheader loss to Middle Tennessee after securing a series win over North Texas.
Florida Atlantic (29-17, 10-11 American) looks to move back into the top-four in the conference, currently sitting at fifth after taking a series against Tulsa this past weekend.
