Kickoff Times Announced for Eight Memphis Football Games

IRVING, Texas – The kickoff times for eight of Memphis football contests of the 2026 season have been announced, per the American Conference on Wednesday.
Memphis' first-ever "Week Zero" contest on Saturday, Aug. 29 at UNLV will take place at 9 p.m. CT on FOX Network. The game also marks the first meeting between the Tigers and Rebels.
The Tigers open the 2026 home slate at 6 p.m. CT on Sept. 5 against Arkansas State on ESPN+. This season's matchup will be the 63rd in the all-time series dating back to 1914, with the Tigers sitting on a five-game winning streak.
Week 2 of the regular season will have the Tigers playing Boise State for just the second time in program history and the first time at Albertsons Stadium. Kickoff against the Broncos is set for 5 p.m. CT on Sept. 12, with the game being broadcast on the USA Network.
Memphis wraps up its nonconference slate with a 6 p.m. CT kick at home against UT Martin, with the game available on ESPN+.
Four American Conference contests have had times announced, starting with a week seven matchup at Tulane on Friday, Oct. 16 (6:30 p.m. CT | ESPN) and the following week's home game against East Carolina on Thursday, Oct. 22 (6:30 p.m. CT | ESPN2). Also included are Memphis' final two road games of the regular season at South Florida on Nov. 12 (7 p.m. CT | ESPN/ESPN2) and Navy on Nov. 21 (11 a.m. CT | Network TBD).
The American Conference Championship has also been announced as a 7 p.m. CT kick on Saturday, Dec. 5 at a campus site, with a broadcast on ABC.
Kickoff times and television designations for the Tigers' games against Charlotte, UAB, Army and Temple will be announced at a later date. Dates and times listed are also subject to change.
Head coach Charles Huff's first season in Memphis is set to be an exciting one with eight of Memphis' 11 FBS opponents earning bowl berths in 2025.
The Tigers will have a six-game home slate at the new-look Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, hosting Arkansas State (Sept. 5) and UT Martin (Sept. 19) in the nonconference slate before American Conference contests against UAB (Oct. 10) in the "Battle for the Bones", East Carolina (Oct. 22), Army (Oct. 31) and Temple (Nov. 27).
Memphis also has a stout road slate against the two top Mountain West programs in UNLV (Aug. 29) and Boise State (Sept. 12), along with conference matchups at Charlotte (Oct. 3), Tulane (Oct. 16), South Florida (Nov. 12) and Navy (Nov. 21), with the Green Wave, Bulls and Midshipmen all finishing in the top five in the American in 2025.

Season tickets for the 2026 campaign start at just $99, a $50 reduction from last season, providing fans one of the most affordable ways to experience Memphis football while returning to a transformed Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
A new feature for the 2026 campaign is the addition of the West Side Plaza. All fans with seats in the west side chairbacks (Sections 131, 132, 101-109) will have access to this new area. The full pricing map can be viewed HERE.
Stadium Seating Update
As part of the ongoing modernization of Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, Memphis Athletics has also introduced an updated section and row numbering system for 2026. While section and row identifiers have been adjusted to improve wayfinding throughout the stadium, season ticket members will keep the same seats - only how they are labeled has changed. Updated seating maps and renewal information will be provided directly to ticket holders.
