Kickoff Time and Network Announced for Memphis’ Matchup at Charlotte

IRVING, Texas – The University of Memphis football team's matchup next week at Charlotte on Saturday, Oct. 3 will air on ESPN+, with kickoff slated for 2:30 p.m. CT.
Memphis (3-1) will come into the matchup fresh off an open week after most recently securing a 45-21 win over UT Martin on Sept. 19, while the 49ers (0-3) face Louisiana prior to hosting the Tigers to open American Conference play.
The Tigers are 2-0 against Charlotte but have been put to the test in both matchups, needing to come back from a 10-point deficit to force overtime and win in 2023, along with needing a last-minute scoring drive to win by a score of 33-28 at home in 2024.
Through week three of college football, Memphis has had one of the top offenses in the country, ranking 15th in team passing efficiency (183.05), third in first down offense (89) and 16th in total offense (508.0).
The Tiger defense this season has shown up in different ways each game, ranking 16th in interceptions with four in one game, 10th in total sacks (10), despite only having one in its last two games, along with sitting 22nd in the nation in red zone defense.
