Made 35 starts (18 as the DH, 12 in right field, and five in left)… Second on the team with 12 doubles overall and tied for the team lead with nine in C-USA games (tied for eighth in the conference along with Jack Riedel).
Slammed a pair of homers at UTSA on 5/6, his fourth career two-homer game (all in conference games)... Hit in a season-best nine straight games from 4/16-5/5 (.333, 13x39)… Led the team in HBP for the second straight year (11) and had been hit 21 times in his career... Slashed .344/.382/.625 with five homers and 19 RBI in 18 games for the Wilson Tobs of the Coastal Plains League over the summer.

2022 (Rice)

Earned Conference USA All-Freshman honors after leading the Owls with a .517 slugging percentage, .914 OPS and nine multi-RBI games and finishing second in homers (8), RBI (36) and total bases (76).
Made 40 starts (25 at first, 15 at third)… Eight home runs were the most by a Rice freshman since Michael Ratteree hit 10 in 2010… Collected a hit in 15 of the first 17 games of his college career (19-for-51)... Slugged homers in three consecutive at-bats (his last vs. SFA and his first two vs. UAB)... His first homer against the Blazers was measured by StatCast at 444 feet, the longest by an Owl at home this season… added a second homer later in that game and then blasted a pair at FIU on 5/20 to become the first Owl since Anthony Rendon in 2010 to have three two-homer games in a season.
