Started 22 games in the field and appeared in 33 total.
Hit .328 over 67 at-bats, slugging six home runs, five doubles and driving in 16 runs and scoring 19 himself.
Slugged .672 with an OBP on .471.
Walked and struck out 15 times apiece while stealing five bases.
Also made 18 relief appearances on the mound where he posted an 8-3 record with a pair of saves.
Totaled 22.1 innings and struck out 27 batters while opponents batted .241 against him.

2023 (Northwest Mississippi CC - Freshman)

Started in 31 of his 39 games played.
Recorded a .268 batting average, finishing with seven doubles, a triple, four home runs, 11 RBI and nine stolen bases.
Went 3-for-5 with a double in a March 25 contest at East Central and was credited with a pair of doubles in an early-season victory against Columbia State.
Posted a .977 fielding percentage with 41 putouts in 43 total chances.
Also made six relief appearances on the mound, notching five strikeouts and an 0-1 record.
Recorded his only save in a February 17 victory over Illinois Central.

2022 (Fall) (Ole Miss - Freshman)

Prior to Memphis/Personal

Played for coach Stephen Kirkpatrick at Northpoint Christian School.
Helped the Trojans to a 33-9 overall record, the district championship and a runner-up finish in the state title game in 2022.
Was well-versed both at the plate and on the mound, batting .557 with 64 hits, 17 doubles, four home runs and five RBI.
On the mound, collected a 7-1 record with 30 strikeouts in 45.1 innings pitched.
Received numerous accolades following his senior campaign, including Daily Memphian Player of the Year, Regional Player of the Year and all-state, all-region, all-district and all-Metro honors.
Received numerous offers and interest from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Memphis, Southern Miss, South Alabama, Northwest Florida State and several MACCC programs.
Son of James Smith III and Nicole Smith, born June 27, 2003.
Has two sisters, Brittani Anderson and Janiya Smith.
