Men's Tennis Claims Two Titles at UT Fall Classic

Knoxville, Tenn. -- - The Memphis Tigers left the University of Tennessee's first-ever Fall Classic with two tournament titles in hand.
The duo of Jack Hu (Nashville, TN) and Michael LaHaie (West Lafayette, Ind.) won the B Doubles final over C-USA foes Foley and Mayer from Louisville, 8-5, while senior Chris Buckley (Oak Ridge, Tenn.) won the B Singles Consolation Championship, 6-4, 6-4 over Dickerson from UT-Chattanooga.
Buckley defeated teammate LaHaie in the B Singles Consolation semifinal, yesterday, to advance to his first final of the season.
Tigers Split at Pro Futures Tournament in Hattiesburg
While their teammates were competing in the UT Fall Classic, sophomore Jamie Adams (Coushetta, La.) and sophomore Joe Schmulian (Devon, South Africa), were competing in the futures tournament in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Both Tigers advanced to the third round of the tournament, where Adams fell, 6-3, 6-3, while Schmulian advanced to the next round. His score was not reported.
