Women's Tennis Falls 4-3

The University of Memphis women's tennis team (1-2) fell 4-3 to Georgia State in Chattanooga, Saturday. The two teams played singles first, and only the No. 1 doubles match finished before Georgia State forfeited the No. 2 and 3 doubles matches due to travel schedules. Junior Andrea Feichtinger picked up the win at No. 2 singles, 1-6, 6-3, 6-3, while Brooke Cowie used a straight set win at No. 3 to give Memphis two of the six singles points.
The Lady Tigers will finish their three-game road trip at Tennessee Tech, Sunday.
