• Lindsay Kelso had the first hit for Memphis on the day with a single to right field in the fourth inning.
• Leila Dolfo hit a solo home run in the sixth inning to score the first run of the day for Memphis. It is her team-leading eighth homer of the year. She now has a team best 25 RBI and 26 runs scored.
• Leandra Hines robbed Angela Spittler of a two-run homer in the sixth inning. Spittler hit a towering shot to the left field fence that Hines caught above the outfield fence.
• Memphis is now 0-11 all-time against top 25 teams and 0-6 this season.
• The five-game losing streak for the Tigers matches the longest stretch in the program's history. Memphis lost five straight in 2007.
