• Keanah Prestridge had her second multi-hit game of the season with singles in the second and fourth innings. Her last multi-hit game came against Jacksonville on March 5.
• Carly Hummel has now struck out at least nine batters in eight of 10 of her starts this season. She finished with a career best 13 strikeouts, which ties the Memphis single game individual record with Jenna Kubesch who had 13 K's against Alcorn State on April 12, 2007.
• Vanessa Walle knocked in her seventh RBI of the season in the top of the seventh inning to score Cheyenne Mascarenas from second. The single through the right side is her second hit as a pinch hitter. The run is the third of the season for Mascarenas who pinch ran after a single by Jessica Phillips.
• The game-winning RBI is Vanessa Walle's third of the season and fifth of her career. The game-winning run is the first for Cheyenne Mascarenas.
• Memphis is now 4-6 in one run games this season.
• Carly Hummel threw her fourth shutout of the season and the sixth of the season for Memphis. She has thrown shutouts in back-to-back starts.
• Carly Hummel threw her third career one hitter in the game, allowing just a single in the fifth inning.
