Tigers Close Out Fall With Dominant Weekend in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's tennis team made a strong statement across three days of dual play in Nashville, combining to go 25-8 between doubles and singles action at Vanderbilt's Black & Gold Invitational to wrap up the fall campaign.

Mike Berghaus capped a perfect 5-0 weekend with three singles wins and two doubles against Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech and Middle Tennessee. Pau Fanlo and Sam Reeve finished 5-1 with each of their losses coming in singles action.

Moritz Kudernatsch went 4-1 and Conor Gannon recorded a 4-2 mark, while Juan Zabala earned a 3-0 total, all in singles play.

The Tigers went 9-2 on the weekend as a team in doubles and 16-6 in singles. All 16 singles victories were in straight sets.
