Wang Sits at One Over Par Following First Round of 2024 Thunderbolt Invitational

SURPRISE, Ariz. – Sophomore men's golfer Yixiang Wang will head into tomorrow's second round of the 2024 Thunderbolt Invitational at one over par after the opening day of play in Arizona.
Wang, who currently leads the team with two top-10 finishes this season, finished today's first round at one over par (73) after recording three birdies (holes 4, 10 and 14) to get him back within striking distance of the current leader at six under par (Zack Missigman, St. Mary's College).
In an eight-way tie for 37th place, Wang will tee-off tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. CT for the second round. Live results can be found HERE.
