STANFORD, Calif. – In its final match of the weekend, the University of Memphis women's tennis team took down the Utes of Utah 5-2 in the ITA Kickoff Weekend.

Memphis (1-3) came out early with the doubles point after Alyssa Richter and Sofia Mykhaliets took a 6-4 victory while Alice Amendola and Clemence Thouard won a 6-4 decision. In individual play, Mykhaliets, Amendola, Thouard and Leonie Moeller all collected wins to secure the 5-2 victory.

The Memphis Tigers are back on the road next week when they play at Xavier against the Bulldogs and Purdue on Saturday and Sunday.
