MEMPHIS, Tenn. – No. 4 Memphis women's soccer concluded the regular season with a 6-0 win over Temple on Monday afternoon at the Track and Soccer Stadium.

The Tigers (15-0-2, 9-0-1 American) finished the regular season undefeated for the second time in program history and the first time in 14 years. Their American Conference record over the last three years is 24-0-5 (.914).

"I'm happy with the way we kept our focus today, and that we got to play everybody," said head coach Brooks Monaghan. "We didn't know exactly what we were going to get against a team fresh off a big win. This is a special group; they've raised expectations every week, and if we clean up some of the finer details there is still room to grow."

The first of six goals was scored via own goal when Ai Kitagawa's cross was deflected into the Owls' net. Flavie Dube doubled the advantage in the 22nd minute, burying an Elise Perron cutback into the left corner.

The lead would stay at two through the halftime break, but Ashley Henderson scored in the 48th minute. Perron and Yuna Nagata were credited with assists.

The Tigers would score twice in quick succession through Henderson again and Mihiro Furuya in the 63rd and 64th minute, respectively. Natalie Leibel would score the sixth and final goal with a beautiful lofted shot in the 68th minute.

Temple took their only shot in the final 15 seconds of the game, forcing Mackenzie Yoder into the first save of her college career. Memphis would finish with 28 shots including 12 on frame.

The postseason will begin on Monday, November 3, as top-seeded Memphis will take on the No. 8 seed in the quarterfinals of the American Conference tournament. Every match will be broadcast on ESPN+; game information including opponent, kick-off times and a complete bracket will be released when the rest of the conference concludes play on Thursday, October 30.
