Nov 02, 2025 | Women's Soccer
LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – The American Conference women's soccer postseason tournament begins on Monday, November 3, with four quarterfinal games, and No. 3 Memphis women's soccer will be the final game of the evening at Premier Sports Campus.
Slated for 6:30 p.m. CT, the top-seeded Tigers (15-0-2, 9-0-1 American) will take on the eight seed East Carolina. The winner will take on the winner of UAB-UTSA on Thursday evening. All games this week are free admission.
Memphis concluded the regular season in style, defeating Temple 6-0 to enter the postseason undefeated for the second time in school history. Following Notre Dame's loss in the regular season finale, the Tigers are the lone unbeaten team in the country. Their campaign was rewarded with 12 players named to All-Conference teams, the most in the history of the American Conference.
A full bracket and up-to-date tournament information can be found above. Memphis' first game will be a rematch of the 2025 tournament final against East Carolina.
The Pirates (6-7-4, 4-4-2 American) fell into the number eight spot on the final day of the American Conference season, as their loss to Charlotte was parlayed with victories from South Florida and UAB in their respective matches. They are coached by Emily Buccilla, in her first year on the job after Gary Higgins left to lead NC State.
Memphis won handily in Greenville earlier this season, shutting out the Pirates while scoring five. East Carolina put three student-athletes on the conference postseason awards list: Caitlen-Star Dolan Boodram and Isabella Gutiérrez earned All-Conference Second Team honors while Gia Spinetti was named to the All-Freshman Team.
