Gannon Named American Athletic Conference Player of the Week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis men's tennis player Conor Gannon has been tabbed as this week's AAC Player of the Week the conference announced Tuesday.

Gannon, a senior out of Dublin, Ireland, had a big week after going a combined 3-1 in singles and doubles in route to two team wins over Northwestern and Indiana. Gannon won both matches as No. 1 against the Wildcats while adding in a 6-2, 7-6 (5) decision against the Hoosiers.

Gannon, who is ranked No. 88 in the most recent ITA Singles rankings, has helped the Tigers to five consecutive team wins over the last three weeks.
