No. 50 Tigers Defeat Wichita State

WICHITA, Kan. The University of Memphis men's tennis team picked up its seventh win in eight matches with a 4-1 decision over Wichita State Friday afternoon.

Memphis got the doubles point after No. 61 Conor Gannon/Sam Reeve cruised to a 6-2 victory while Harry Rock/Moritz Kudernatsch got the tie breaking win with a 7-5 decision over Luke Bracks/Vanja Hodzic.

In singles competition, Gannon and Kudernatsch picked up straight set wins before Reeve got the match-clinching win with a 7-6, 6-2 victory over Ilias Worthington.

The Tigers will be back in Memphis on Friday, March 21 to host Rice. First serve is set for 5 p.m. at Leftwich Tennis Center.
