Tigers in Fifth Place, Baucum in Top 15 Through Day One of Old Waverly Collegiate Championship

WEST POINT, Miss. – The University of Memphis men's golf team had a solid outing during the opening two rounds of the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship. While the team sits in fifth place, behind three nationally ranked teams, senior Andrew Baucumfinds himself in the top 15, individually.

After shooting a 71 on the first 18 holes, Baucum came out to go three under par in the second round that included an eagle on hole nine.

Diego Lourenco, who won the individual competition of the Memphis Intercollegiate: Spirited by Old Dominick just a couple of weeks ago, finished the day even while Cian O'Connor and Yixiang Wang both go into tomorrow's final round at two over par. Christian Morneau rounds out the team at four over par.
