Oct 19, 2026 | Football
IRVING, Texas – University of Memphis wide receiver Stonka Burnside was named to the American Conference's Weekly Honorable Mentions list, the conference announced Monday morning.
Burnside, a native of Starkville, Mississippi, had a career night against Tulane on Friday, catching seven passes for 151 yards and a touchdown. His 151 receiving yards sit just outside of the top 30 in single-game receiving yards by an FBS player this season and are the second most by a Tiger this year, only behind Hunter Tipton's 229 against Boise State.
On the season, the redshirt sophomore has 18 catches for 341 yards and three touchdowns, all marks that lead the wide receiving group and sit second on the team in overall stats.
