CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Poorna Raorane claimed another shot put title Friday, recording a 14.92-meter toss to lead the Tigers at the Redhawks Open.

Meghan Porterfield anchored the Tigers' efforts with a pair of top-five finishes. The Glasgow, Scotland, native took second in the weight throw with a career-best 17.85-meter toss. Porterfield followed that performance by claiming third in the shot put with a mark of 13.11 meters.

The Tigers had another dominant performance recording nine top-five finishes and four personal-bests. Full results can be found in the link above.

Memphis is back on the track next week in Birmingham, Alabama for the American Indoor Championships on Friday, February 27, and Saturday, February 28.
