Demerle Delivers 583 at NCAA Rifle Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Memphis rifle's Katrina Demerle represented the Tigers on the national stage Friday, finishing 26th in the smallbore competition at the NCAA Rifle Championships.
Demerle posted a 583 in the event, highlighted by a strong finish in the standing position where she fired 97 and 99 in her final two series. Her performance included consistent shooting throughout the match with scores of 96, 95, 97, 99, 97 and 99.
Competing against a field of the nation's top shooters, Demerle's score placed her among a tightly packed leaderboard in the middle of the standings at the national championship event.
