Garfoot Paces Tigers at Ironwood Invitational

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Memphis women's golf posted the sixth-best score of Tuesday's final round at Ironwood Golf & Country Club, finishing the Ironwood Invitational in ninth place.
Their team score of 9-over in the final round gives them momentum to carry into the postseason, led by Tilly Garfoot who posted a 1-over on Wednesday to finish 14th, her third top-15 finish of the season.
All four of the Tigers counted scores were 4-over or better in the final round in Greenville. Claire Swathwood and Nutsanun Khamphueng each posted 2-over scores fueled by multiple birdies. All five competitors improved upon their early-round numbers to finish the regular season strong.
