May 20, 2026 | Men's Basketball
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis men's basketball head coach Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway announced Wednesday the signing of transfer forward Maxim Logue to the Tigers' 2026-27 roster.
A 6-foot-9 forward from Lyon, France, Logue becomes Coach Hardaway's ninth transfer portal addition this offseason. He arrives at Memphis following his sophomore campaign at American Conference rival Florida Atlantic University, where he averaged 4.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per game, adding interior depth to Hardaway's roster.
An athletic and active presence in the frontcourt, Logue reached double figures in scoring four times during the 2025-26 season. His top performance came against Charlotte, when he recorded 16 points and 10 rebounds in a season-high 28 minutes. In his first matchup against Memphis, Logue totaled six points and seven rebounds in just 13 minutes of action. Logue was efficient from the floor shooting over 67 percent while displaying his defensive ability with 15 blocks and 14 steals.
Prior to FAU, Logue began his collegiate career at Oregon State University, appearing in 21 games as a freshman. He averaged 2.9 points and 2.0 rebounds per game while showing flashes of his potential, highlighted by an 18-point, 10-rebound performance against Central Florida for his first collegiate double-double.
Before coming to the United States, Logue competed professionally in France's top league, LNB Pro A, and represented France in multiple international competitions. He played for the French U16 and U17 national teams in FIBA World Cup competition and later competed with the French U18 team at the 2023 European Championships, where he averaged 7.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting nearly 55 percent from the field.
Logue joins a Memphis transfer class that includes Luke Almodovar, Brandin Cummings, Jerry Deng, Josh Holloway, Jayden Reid, Rihards Vavers, Corneilous Williams and Tylik Weeks.
