Tigers Ranked No. 10 in Preseason CRCA Poll for Third Consecutive Season

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For a third straight year, the University of Memphis rifle program will begin the 2026-27 season as the No. 10 team in the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) preseason poll, the organization announced.
Memphis finished the 2025-26 campaign with a 6-7 record, with ranked wins over then No. 12 Ohio State, No. 13 Akron, No. 1 Kentucky, No. 16 Morehead State and No. 19 North Georgia, going 3-1 in Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) competitions.
The Tigers start this season with four matches against teams in the preseason top five in Ole Miss, West Virginia and a pair of competitions against Nebraska. All six programs in the GARC were ranked within the top 15, with Memphis ahead of conference opponents Akron and Army.
