Terrence Lollie joined the University of Memphis athletics department as the Senior Associate Athletic Director of Integrated Communications and Chief of Staff in August 2024, announced by Senior Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Ed Scott.
He comes to Memphis from Morgan State University, where he most recently served as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Strategic Communications and Brand Advancement after being hired by Scott in July 2017.

His tireless work ethic coupled with his tremendous values will provide an immediate positive impact to the culture of Tiger Athletics.”
Lollie’s duties at Morgan State included leading the athletic department’s strategic communications and digital media team and overseeing the communication of the department’s day-to-day operations.
He arrived at Morgan State in 2017 to fill the role of Assistant Athletic Director for Student Services while Scott was serving as Director of Athletics for the Bears. He also served as Associate Athletic Director for Student Services (2020-21) and Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student Academic Success (2021-24) during his time at MSU.
Prior to Morgan State, Lollie spent seven years at Binghamton University as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications (2010-14) and Student-Athlete Success Center Counselor (2014-17), where he was responsible for the oversight of the cross country, track and field, volleyball and women’s lacrosse programs.
While in the athletic communications office Lollie assisted in the overhauling of the athletics’ website. Lollie managed and oversaw the athletic communications internship program and aided in the placement of interns at Boston College, Wake Forest, St. John’s and Vermont.
Lollie monitored the welfare of the Binghamton student-athletes, tracked their progress towards degree and developed programming for professional development.He also served on the athletic department’s diversity and inclusion committee, sat on the search committee for the founding director of the LGBTQ Resource Center, taught a first-year seminar course and co-advised the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

A native of Binghamton, New York, Lollie previously served as a Media Relations Director for the ATP Tour: Levene, Gouldin & Thompson Tennis Challenger and a communications consultant for the STOP-DWI Holiday Classic basketball tournament in his hometown. He began his career as the ticket sales and marketing coordinator for the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.
Lollie has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Hartwick College and a master’s degree in sport management from SUNY Cortland. He was a three-year starter on the football team at Hartwick.
