• Leila Dolfo led off the game with her eighth double of the season.
• Leandra Hines extended her hitting streak to three games with a single in the top of the first. She also stole her 10th base of the season.
• Memphis is now 3-11 this season when the opponent scores the first run.
• Leandra Hines had her fifth multi-hit game of the season with singles in the first and third inning.
• Kailey Kassner knocked in the first run of the game for Memphis in the fourth inning. It is her 10th RBI of the year and scored Heather Mott. It is Mott's 20th run of the season.
• Leandra Hines matched her career high with three singles in the game. She has had three hits in a contest three times in her career and two times this season.
• Leigh Rowan hit her second double of the season in the top of the sixth.
• Tori Gross hit her fourth double of the season in the sixth inning to knock in a run. The RBI is her seventh on the season and scored Heather Mott. Mott has scored twice in the game and now has 21 runs on the year.
• Kim Sirman scored her seventh run of the year on an error in the sixth inning as a pinch runner for Leigh Rowan.
• Memphis is now 2-8 this year when trailing after five innings.
• Leila Dolfo walked in the seventhinning. It is the 10th straight game she has drawn at least one walk and the 14th time in the last 15 games. She leads the team with 23.
• Memphis is now 4-5 all-time against UAB and 1-5 when playing in Birmingham. The Tigers have lost three-straight to the Blazers.
