MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis (18-14, 8-11 AAC) fell to Tulsa (13-17,6-12 AAC) on Wednesday afternoon. The Hurricane won the match 3-1 (16-25,25-11,25-22,24-23).

The Tigers came out hot in the first set, hitting .367 and holding Tulsa to a .116 hitting percentage. Tulsa was able to rebound in the second set, holding the Memphis attack to just 11 points.

The third and fourth sets were close, with the Tigers having an opportunity to win both. The Golden Hurricanes were able to rally at the end of each set to win the match 3-1.

Before the match against Wichita State on Friday, the Tigers will honor five seniors, Kate Bass, Gigi Crescenzo, Anna Hayes, Andrea O'Conner and Miaya Smith. Fans should make sure to wear black for the Black Friday Blackout.

NOTABLES

Kate Bass led Memphis with 13 kills on .333 hitting percentage. Bass also had three digs.
Memphis honored Gigi Crescenzo and Bailey Houlihan for both hitting 1000 career digs this season. Both had 18 on the afternoon while Crescenzo had her 17^th double-double as a Tiger.
Loren Robertson had a match high 35 assists.
