Memphis Set To Finish Regular Season Against Tulsa and Wichita State

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis (18-13, 8-10 AAC) will finish the regular season campaign at home against Tulsa (12-17,5-12 AAC) and Wichita State (16-12,11-6 AAC). Both matches are set for 1 pm CT and will be streamed on ESPN+.

On the road earlier this season the Tiger fell to Wichita 3-1. Gigi Crescenzo led the Tigers with15 kills, one service ace and one block. Memphis then rebounded with a 3-1 victory over Tulsa, hitting at the time its second-best hitting percentage of the season.

Currently, Memphis leads the conference in total block (268). The effort is led by senior Kate Bass who leads the conference with 125 this season and is second in blocks per set (1.21). Junior libero Bailey Houlihan remains one of the bests at her position as she leads the conference and is 12^th in the nation in digs this season with 596. Setter Loren Robertson leads the American Athletic conference with 1108 assists this season.

Memphis will be giving away a free Thanksgiving meal to one lucky fan at their match against Tulsa on Wednesday. Before the match against Wichita State on Friday, the Tigers will honor five seniors, Kate Bass, Gigi Crescenzo, Anna Hayes, Andrea O'Conner and Miaya Smith.
