Tigers Prepare for Steelwood Collegiate

LOXLEY, Ala. – The University of Memphis men's golf team rounds out its fall season at the Steelwood Collegiate hosted by South Alabama this Saturday and Sunday.
The Tigers are coming off their highest finish of the season after bringing home fourth place from the Everett Buick GMC Classic in Little Rock. Diego Lourenco tied his career low after a 65 in the third-round while finishing the weekend at nine under par for a top five finish. Yixiang Wang got his third top 20 finish for the season at a tie for 16th place.
Competing for Memphis this weekend is Lourenco, Wang, Andrew Baucum, Jackson McCommon and Cian O'Connor.
Steelwood Golf Club, a par 72, 7,096-yard course, will play host to 14 teams over the two-day tournament. Saturday's start will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Live results can be found HERE.
