Reeve/Rensing Advance to Second Round of Winners Bracket in Battle of the Plains

AUBURN, Ala. – The University of Memphis men's tennis team competed in the opening round of the Battle of the Plains tournament hosted by Auburn with one group advancing to the second round of the winner's bracket.
The duo of Sam Reeve and Lasse Rensing swept the competition of UAB in their opening match-up before moving on to take a 1-0 lead over Victor Frumholz/Adam Bouyacoub of South Alabama following a 6-3 win in doubles.
Luis Sandoval Carvalho and Marko Milosavljevic faced off with Lan Lestir/Matthieu Chambonniere from Ole Miss, falling 3-0. The duo goes into tomorrow's single matches down 1-0 after falling 6-3 in their doubles match-up against Charlie Swaine/Cole Henceroth of South Carolina.
