Zych Earns CRCA All-America Honors

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis junior Gabriela Zych earned her fifth-career All-America honor from the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) this week as she was named Second-Team All-America in smallbore for the second-straight year.
Zych also qualified as a smallbore alternate earlier this week for the NCAA Rifle Championships.
The Anchorage, Alaska native has had another great season for the Tigers, leading the team with averages of 586.0 in smallbore, 594.62 in air rifle and 1,180.62 in aggregate. Over the course of the season, she finished one point shy of her own school records in all three, posting season highs of 592 in smallbore (Jan. 20), 597 in air rifle (Oct. 26, Jan. 17) and 1188 aggregate (Jan. 17).
She owns eight top-3 finishes in aggregate this season, including two wins. He also picked up a top-3 finish in smallbore five times (four wins) and six in air rifle (two wins).
Zych and the Tigers will compete in the Great American Rifle Conference Championship on Saturday and Sunday.
