Tigers Hand Bulldogs First Loss at Home This Season in 4-2 Victory

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The University of Memphis men's tennis team got back in the win column Sunday afternoon following a 4-2 victory over 37^th-ranked Yale. The win marks the first head-to-head loss in New Haven for the Bulldogs since April 2024.

Memphis collected the doubles point after Mortiz Kudernatsch and Harry Rock earned a 6-4 victory while Pablo Alemany and Luis Sandoval Carvalho picked up a 6-3 win.

In singles play, Conor Gannon and Kudernatsch cruised to wins on courts one and four, respectively, while Sandoval Carvalho locked in the match-winning point on a 6-2 tiebreaker.
