Tigers in Second Place, Baucum in First Following Day One of AAC Championship

SARASOTA, Fla. – The University of Memphis men's golf team strung together a strong outing during the opening round of the American Athletic Conference Championship Monday afternoon.

Working on a par 72, 7292-yard course, the Tigers sit at five under par, four strokes behind current leader, 33^rd-ranked South Florida.

Individually, Andrew Baucum holds a share of first place after finishing the day five under par – shooting four under on the front nine. Diego Lourenco is right behind him at three under par and a share of eighth place.

Cian O'Connor and Yixiang Wang head into tomorrow's second round even at par and three over, respectively, while Christian Morneau finished today at four over par.
