Memphis Adds JUCO Guard Felipe Patino

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's basketball program and head coach Penny Hardaway announced Friday the signing of junior college transfer Felipe Patino to the roster for 2025-26.
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard joins the Tigers after a standout season at Eastern Florida State College in Cocoa, Florida where he established himself as one of the top shooters in Region 8.
Patino averaged 9.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over 28 games for the Titans this past season, while shooting 47.6 percent from beyond the arc after connecting on 69-of-145 three-point attempts.
Originally from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, Patino becomes the second player signed to Memphis' 2025 recruiting class, joining fellow guard Daniel Vieira-Tuck.
Patino prepped at Winston Salem Christian in North Carolina, helping the Lions to a 73-14 record over his junior and senior seasons.
