Burk Finishes Top 10 at Grover Page Classic; Tigers Claim Share of Sixth Place at Bearcat Invitational

MEMPHIS, Tenn. / CINCINNATI, Ohio – The University of Memphis men's golf team had two strong showings today in the final rounds of the Grover Page Classic and Bearcat Invitational.

Here in Memphis, three individuals finished up play at the Links at Audubon in the final round of the Grover Page Classic. Newcomer Blane Burk placed in the top 10 with a 206 final score while shooting a 69 in the final round. Teammate Jaime Romeral finished the tournament even at 213 while Curro Martinez finished at one over par.

Up in Cincinnati, the Tigers finished with a share of sixth place after shooting par in today's final round. Memphis, who finished four over par, had one player finish in the top 15 for individuals in Yixiang Wang.

Wang, who shot a 71 in the final round, snagged a share of 14^th place while Diego Lourenco (+2), Tobey Kim (+3) and Cian O'Connor (+3) all finished in the top 40. Christian Morneau rounded out the rest of the team at six over par.
