American Conference Releases Women's Basketball Conference Schedule

IRVING, Texas – The American Conference released the conference slate for all 13 women's basketball teams on Thursday morning, with Memphis slated to begin conference play on December 31 at Charlotte.
The Tigers' first week of conference season will be spent in North Carolina, as they take on East Carolina on January 3 in Greenville. They will return home to host Florida Atlantic on January 7 and South Florida on January 10.
Their first bye week will come between road games at North Texas (January 13) and Wichita State (January 20), and they will host UTSA (January 24) and Tulane (January 27). Alex Simmons' third team at Memphis will close out the month at Tulsa on January 31 before hosting Rice on February 7.
Memphis will travel to Birmingham to battle UAB on February 10 and host a return fixture with the 49ers on February 14. They'll play Tulane in New Orleans on February 19 before a trip to Philadelphia to play Temple on the 22nd.
Three of the final four regular season games will be at Elma Roane Fieldhouse, with East Carolina coming to town on February 25. March will open with a road game at UTSA before hosting UAB (March 4) and Wichita State (March 7) to conclude the regular season.
