Tigers In Fifth Place Following Round One of Argent Financial Classic

CHOURDANT, La. – Following round one of the Argent Financial Classic, the University of Memphis men's golf team sits in fifth place while two Tigers are currently in the top 10 for individuals.

Sitting at three under par, Memphis shot even as a team on the front nine holes with all players recording birdies on hole nine. The Tigers are just five strokes behind current leader, Louisiana.

Cian O'Connor and Yixiang Wang are both in a tie for 10^th place at two under par while Christian Morneau shot a 72 during today's round. Diego Lourenco and Tobey Kim round out the rest of the team at one and three over par, respectively.
