Memphis Football vs. UAB Know Before You Go: Game Day Updates

The game will kick off at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN2 with Chuckie Kempf on play-by-play and Dustin Fox on color. The game will also be available to listen to on 98.9 THE ROAR OF MEMPHIS, Memphis' Athletics flagship station for Tiger Sports Network, with Dave Woloshin (play-by-play), Jarvis Greer (analyst) and Greg Gaston, Sr. (sideline) on the call.
The University of Memphis is closely monitoring weather conditions ahead of Saturday's football game. At this time, the game remains scheduled as planned. However, due to the forecast for severe weather and high winds prior to game day, several early game day activities and tailgating operations are being modified. Fans and visitors should stay alert of weather developments to make responsible decisions on travel and shelter during severe weather.

Along with other prohibited, UMBRELLAS ARE NOT ALLOWED in the stadium. Plan ahead with a poncho or raincoat.
Below is additional information for fans should know before arriving at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
PARKING
- Increased MPD Presence: In coordination with the City of Memphis, additional Memphis Police Department officers will be stationed around the stadium to assist with parking and traffic flow.
- Improved Traffic Signage: TDOT parking signs will be placed around the stadium to help direct fans to the appropriate parking areas and points of entry.
- One-Way Traffic on Glenn Rogers, Sr. Street: Beginning three hours prior to kickoff, Glenn Rogers, Sr. Street will operate as four lanes of one-way southbound traffic to improve traffic flow into and around the stadium.
- Free Shuttle Service: A FREE game day shuttle service is available this season for fans, students, faculty, and staff. This service previously operated as a paid option, but parking on campus and riding to the stadium now involves no charge. Click HERE for more shuttle information.
- Rideshare Locations: Two designated rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.) pickup and drop-off locations are available at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. One location is on Glenn Rogers Sr. Street near Gate D, and the other is on East Parkway South adjacent to the Tiger Lane entrance.
ENTRY
- Additional Security Staff: Increased BEST Security staffing will be in place at stadium entrances to assist with security screening and ticket scanning, helping fans enter the stadium more efficiently.
- Software Updates to Ticket Scanners: A software update has been implemented for the ticket scanners to help prevent devices from overheating and reduce delays at stadium entry points.
- Updated Seat Numbering: ADA seating has been updated to include specific seat numbers, and all row numbers have been accurately represented throughout the stadium.
CONCESSIONS
- More Points of Sale: Sodexo will add 12 additional points of sale throughout the concourse to help reduce wait times.
- Grab-and-Go Options: Grab-and-Go stations will be placed inside the Halo, providing fans with quick and convenient food and beverage options.
- Mobile Beverage Kiosks: Mobile beverage kiosks will be positioned throughout the concourse for additional convenience.
- In-Seat Convenience: Mobile vendors offering beverages and snacks will circulate throughout the stadium stands, giving fans more opportunities to purchase refreshments without leaving their seats.
FAN AMENITIES
- Stadium WIFI: UM-Guest will be available to all Simmons Bank Libety Stadium guest. No password is needed just an email registration.
- First Aid: Emergency services are provided in two locations, Entry 5 next to the Stadium Offices and Entry 6, Gate F near the southwest corner of the stadium.
- Fan Assistance: Fans who need assistance at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, can text the number 901-300-2226 to contact facility management
Upon entering the stadium, please review all traffic patterns for the 2026 season. Specifically, Glenn Rogers Sr. Street will be one-way southbound three hours prior to the game and one-way northbound one hour after the game. Please refer to the Traffic Flow map in the Stadium Information link.
Please plan to arrive early as the parking areas and access routes around Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium have changed for the 2026 season. Review the parking and stadium map before leaving for the game and identify your parking lot and recommended Liberty Park Access Point.
The lot formerly known as Silver Lot 4 is now the Diamond Lot. Access to the Diamond Lot is reserved for season ticket members with tickets in the West Side Tower. Also, a portion of the GOLD II Lot offline due to the 'Battle for the Bones' BBQ Contest.
ADA parking will no longer be complimentary and must be purchased in advance of game day. ADA parking will not be available for purchase upon arrival on game day. Guests requiring ADA accommodations must ensure their designation is clearly reflected on their vehicle hang tag or license plate to indicate eligibility.
The entry process has also been updated for the 2026 season as the security screening and ticket scanning will take place before fans enter the Halo, the secured perimeter surrounding Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. Due to upgrades in security screening and the ticketing process, the Fast Pass that was offered in previous seasons is NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
A valid game ticket is required to enter the Halo. Once inside, fans may move between the Halo and Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. Please note that reentry is strictly prohibited; once the Halo perimeter is exited, readmission using the same ticket will not be permitted.
The Northeast entrance near Gate D, Entry 3 has a new gate installed for ticketing and Gate C is currently offline due to North Tunnel Construction.

• Old Gate 1 is now Gate D, Entry 4
• Old Gate 2 is now Gate C (offline due North Tunnel), Entry 3
• Old Gate 3 is now Gate B, Entry 2
• Old Gate 4 is now Gate F, Entry 6
• Old Gate 5 is now Exit Only
• Old Gate 6 is now Gate E, Entry 5
• New Stadium Access - Gate A, Entry 1
• New ADA Access between Gate C and Gate D
Finally, Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium has a new section and row numbering system for the 2026 season designed to make finding your seat easier. For returning Season Ticket Members: Your physical seat location has not changed. Only the section and/or row used to identify your seat may have changed.
What's Changed
- Seating below the main concourse remains on the 100 Level.
- Seating above the main concourse is now on the 200 Level.
- All sections now begin with Row 1.
- Seat numbers have not changed.
- A portion of Section 113 has been removed due to construction of the North Tunnel.
- East Side Suites are now 700 and 800 levels.

- Gate D / Entry 4

For the 2026 season, Memphis will implement tiered pricing for single-game tickets:
- Tier 1: Army – starting at $25
- Tier 2: UAB, East Carolina – starting at $20
- Tier 3: UT Martin, Temple – starting at $15
Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early and save. Single-game ticket prices will increase by $5 during game week and by an additional $5 on gameday at the Box Office. The pricing structure supports enhanced planning for security, concessions and staffing.
For additional flexibility, the Memphis Football Mini Plan allows fans to choose any three games that best fit their schedule, starting at just $60.
Similar to last year, Memphis Athletics will ask fans to cover the Shelby County sales tax rate of 9.75 percent on all tickets and parking.
