- Faith Brown singled in the bottom half for Memphis but was stranded.
- A fielding error and four consecutive walks led to two more runs for the Owls in the second inning.
- Three more walks issued by the Memphis staff in the third inning led to three more runs for Florida Atlantic on a sacrifice fly and a two-RBI single.
- Neely Taylor and Ariel Davis hit back-to-back two-out singles, while Faith Brown reached on a hit-by-pitch, but the Tigers stranded the bases loaded on a swinging strikeout by Jasmine Mack.

- Ariel Davis scored on the play after singling to lead off the fifth and advancing on a pair of wild pitches.
- After moving the game's start time from 5 p.m. to 1 p.m., a three-hour weather delay resulted in the game beginning at 4 p.m.

- Memphis' pitching staff failed to record a strikeout for just the second time this season, with the only other instance being a 12-3 loss to South Florida on March 6.

- Davis has now eclipsed 50 hits on the season, the first Tiger to do so since Gracie Morton's 66 hits in 2022.

- Now having been hit by a pitch eight times, Waldrep sits tied for seventh in single-season Tigers history.
