Lourenco, Wang Earn Back-to-Back All-Conference Honors

IRVING, Texas - For the second consecutive year, University of Memphis men's golf student-athletes Diego Lourenco and Yixiang Wang have been named to the American Conference's All-Conference Team, the league announced Tuesday.
The junior duo, who have now earned All-Conference honors in both 2025 and 2026, were fixtures in the Tigers' lineup this season, competing in all 11 tournaments.
Lourenco, a native of Orleans, France, solidified his repeat selection by capturing the individual title at the American Conference Championships. He finished at 14-under-par with a total of 202, shattering the previous 54-hole conference record of 205. The victory followed an early-season win at the Colleton River Collegiate in March.
Wang, a native from Dalian, China, secured his second straight All-Conference nod behind a season defined by consistency. Wang claimed his first collegiate individual title at the Steelwood Collegiate with a 7-under-par performance back in late October. He finished the season with four top-three finishes.
