Tigers Head to Ohio for the Bearcat Invitational

CINCINNATI, Ohio — The University of Memphis men's golf team travels to Cincinnati to compete in the Bearcat Invitational starting Monday, Sept. 14, at Coldstream Country Club.
This marks the fifth consecutive year Memphis has competed in the tournament, dating back to fall 2022 when the Tigers finished in fourth place.
The University of Cincinnati will host the two-day, 54-hole tournament Sept. 14–15. Teams will play two 18-hole rounds on Monday before closing out the final round Tuesday.
Memphis enters the week following a second-place finish at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate, where the team shot 11-under-par 829. Yixiang Wang tied for fourth individually after firing a 7-under-par 203, while Diego Lourenco tied for 13th at 3-under-par 207.
At last year's Bearcat Invitational, the Tigers tied for sixth place with a 4-over 856. Wang led Memphis at 1-under-par 212 to finish tied for 14th, with Lourenco and Tobey Kim also placing in the top 50.
